Concrete deck problems

We had a new deck poured as part of our pool Renovation last fall. The results are mixed and I have no idea what to make of it. The concrete contractor has not been very helpful.

Part of the deck - where it’s narrower - looks mottled. The sitting area is more uniform. Has anyone encountered this? The contractor said he’d never seen it before and then stopped answering my emails.

Was it colored concrete or just plain "concrete" color? Have you tried power washing a small section to see if it is just a surface stain?

Just plain concrete, no color added.

Try powerwashing then.

Looks like your soil is a red clay, could the color be soil staining?
Try bleach / water solution and brushing.
