I can not figure out why the concrete appears wet above my sheer descent. The wetness appears on the last two but really affecting the middle one. It appears to start to dry but next morning looks wet. When it’s on, it doesn’t appear to hit the concrete which makes it even more concerning. When I look in the slot it appears to have a little water in it, we don’t have much winds to blow it up on the concrete imo.

I didn’t have it on for two days which still had the wetness on the concrete and inside the descent.

Any ideas on what would cause it?

Also post up pictures of your equipment. Are your descents powered by a separate pump, or is there an actuator that diverts water from the main return system when in use?

Same pump, valve separation

Also, forgot to mention maybe that’s the problem, my pump is on 24/7 due to startup. Maybe the valve at the equipment is allowing water through?

Still wouldn’t make sense how it’s higher up though because when it’s on, it doesn’t touch.

the grout appears wet under it for the rock compared to the other one. I doubt you’ll be able to notice from the pictures, here’s one that is wet compared to the other.

The bottom picture is the wet one.

Definitely seems like an odd issue.

Possibly a leak, but it is difficult to tell for sure.

You might have to cut into the wall from the front or back if you want to know for sure.

Even so, wouldn’t the water dissipate in two days 95+ outside? Maybe there is a leak and the valve is allowing water through as well since it is running 24/7?
