Pentair Intellichlor IC-60
Pentair IC-60, 53,500 gallons VSP currently running 24 hours a day pushing about 60-80 gallons a minute. Sand filter. Heater on bypass. My SWG is currently set to 0%.

I completed the SLAM process last night. My free chlorine level dropped less than one, combined chlorine less than .5 and my pool is clear after 24 hours. I knew something was wrong originally when my SWG couldn’t keep up despite running at 100% for a week. CYA of near 70 with a free chlorine level of 27 using 34 gallons of liquid chlorine. It appears it was an algae bloom (despite clear water but dust starting to form on the bottom that turned white with SLAM )with accumulation along the vinyl seams

What is my next step in terms of setting the SWG if I won’t be at the pool for the next week starting tomorrow. . I have nobody to check my chlorine levels. Expecting hot and sunny weather. My auto cover broke last week so the pool is wide open to sun. I do have access to setting my SWG by phone anywhere using the Pentair Intellicenter.

Since you can adjust it remotely, I would give it a couple days to let the FC fall a bit, then turn the SWG back on to your normal output setting. If you're not sure what % to use, I would consider 50% to be safe. There's some flexibility there, so we can compare this reply with others who may reply as well.
