Recently purchased a pool kit from pool warehouse that came with color logic 320 1.5” LED lights and niche. No instructions. We didn’t put the niche in before we installed the liner. About 3’ of water in deep end of a 6’ pol hopper. How do we install the light niche after the liner is in?

Is the pool wall backfilled where you want to place the light?
You have a light conduit and electrical run to the location?
Install the light conduit with the 1.5" pipe into the pool wall as you installed the pool returns.

Back of metal wall is exposed and accessible. Conduit is run but niche is not installed to receive the light fixture or face plate to seal.
Update!
I was able to cut a small hole in the liner where the LED light was going anyway. I poured some hot water over the liner in that area and was able to stretch the liner enough to get the light niche in place and screw in the faceplate and install the lights.
Hindsite…don’t forget to put your niche in the wall before placing the foam and liner on.
