Not sure if this is the best place to post, so please direct me if I should post in a different spot! Our AG pool has been algae free all season. However, there were a couple days in the past week we weren't able to check it. The water level got a bit too low so the breaker kicked off the pump, so we had some green forming on the bottom. We got the water level up and vacuumed, but I'm noticing the water is a bit cloudy. Nothing drastic, just not that crystal clear I like to see. We want to close the pool this week if possible. Ive added bleach and running filter 24/7 to see if that helps clear, but my question is this: If I don't use anything to settle out the particles and vac up before we close, will the particles eventually settle on their own over winter, or will be facing a bigger cloudy mess in spring? Im not sure with possible rain, etc this week if I'll be able to vac up settled particulate before closing. Also, would clarified or a floc be best for this?

No clarifier or floc. Those are bandaids and don’t kill the algae they just mechanically remove it. It will continue to proliferate.
You need to complete the
SLAM Process before closing.

Its a bit early yet to close for most places as we recommend the water temp be low 60’s and falling. Along with opening before the water temp rises much above 60 degrees for best results.
As well as closing algae free and following these guides.
