We opened our pool a week ago. It was green and we did the usual opening kit. Clarifier, shock, and algicide. We have a 15 foot above ground pool with a 1 HP sand filter. After a few days it was not getting clear. If anything it started turning cloudy and whitish in color. My husband has backwashed the filter daily and checked the pool chemicals with out test kit. It should not be taking us more than 7 days to get clear water. Can anyone please help us to clear up our pool water and get it nice and clear? Thank you
