Hello
This is my third year with a 24 foot above ground pool. I did not put a winter cover on because we have no trees so don't bother to cover. We have had a warmer than normal spring. When I opened the pool, it was green. I treated with shock and got rid of the green but the water is cloudy. I have tried clarifier multiple times. The PH is very low. I have done 2 PH rise treatments (about 2 pounds each). I also tried 4 pounds of baking soda yesterday.
I run the filter 12 hours a day and keep the solar cover on.
I have tried liquid shock, chlorine granules, and tablets in the skimmer basket.

Welcome to TFP!!!

How are you testing your water? Can you post a set of result with your kit? FC, CC, pH, TA, CH, CYA. What is the volume of the pool?

Take the tablets out of the skimmer. They can damage equipment by being in there (acidic).

Go Bills!

You need a recommended test kit for us to help. Strips are not accurate. Recommendations off of strips can do more damage.

Here are the kits we recommend. Link-->Test Kits Compared

I'd add 3ppm of liquid chlorine a day until the kit arrives. Nothing else.
