Cloudy water and leaves in the bottom

I'll add the trick of using a diesel fuel filter from McMaster. McMaster-Carr Works overnight, heck, works in hours!

This picture was taken 3 days after opening a brown leaf-pond. All I did was remove all debris with leaf gulper, brushed remaining debris to the deep end, added 3 gallons of 8.25% bleach, a box of Borax, and attached my DIY Slimebag to the deep end return jet.

SlimeBag for 1/10 of the price, yes you can!!

Here is the link from this site. I used to buy these for up to $75 a piece from Slimebag, $6 now. Work just as well. I used to put one on each return and no pressure issues, so one return should be fine. You just have to keep an eye on it, it will turn brown and will need to be rinsed out. You will easily see how effective it is when the chocolate syrup runs down the driveway.
