cloudy waer and patience

I began slam on 5-26-20201, my water ws in bad shape as we had some abnormal wrm days a week or so before. I'm down to cloudy water now after stqrting our with a black mess. Today is the 5th june, am I doing something wrong or just impatient for the water to be crystal clear????

I know in my past slams I start around every 2 hours then gradually move to 3-4 times a day by the end

If you have only been doing twice a day the entire time it definitely makes sense that it has been a while. Every hour you’re fc is below slam level for your cya algea grows. You must declare war!
