Cloudy Pool with Balanced Water

Opened the pool 1 week ago and have been SLAMing. Water seems balanced. Using liquid chlorine to slam. Water is still cloudy and not sure if I am being impatient or if there is something else I should do. Please advise.

Please read the SLAM Process article. Your CYA is too low and your FC is too high. Raise your CYA to 30 ppm and let your FC get to 12 ppm and maintain that. Your FC is at a level that could be damaging your liner.
Are you letting your sand filter pressure rise by 25% over clean pressure before backwash?
