Hello! We cannot get our pool cleared. Our levels were fine then my husband used the frog system which i think sent our CYA too high. He put in clarifier, didn’t do anything. Cleaned our filters and shocked multiple times and still cloudy.
Went to our pool store and they said to just use flocculant to clear it up and use metal out for copper. We have a cartridge filter so after reading up, we decided that the flocculant was bad advice. We stopped the frog system yesterday to lower the cya. After reading up I see the Fc needs to be a lot higher to work with our high stabilizer.
Im not sure if its starting to get algae or what but I’m thinking to shock it again to see if that doesn’t help again then it may be time to drain the pool a bit and add fresh water to lower the cya and copper.
