Pool water has been great for several weeks chemicals finally stabled out and we were doing well. All of a sudden a couple or so days ago I noticed the water was murky with a greenish(?) tint to it. I’ve done overnight chlorine loss test no drop, cc is at 0.5 cya is 70 FC is 7. Should I SLAM or what would be the suggestion here? I’ve thought about adding a little DE to my filter but wanted advice first . Thanks for your help!!!

When in doubt, follow the SLAM Process process ... murky water does not pass the exit criteria.

Ok .. kind of what I thought. One more question.. can you get in the pool while slamming?

You can safely swim in a pool as long as the FC is above the minimum and at or below SLAM level based on your CYA. You must also be able to see the bottom in the deep end of the pool.

let us know how it goes! I'm dealing with the exact same issue. Its frustrating since I am totally on top of my chemistry. OCLT=0, CYA=70, FC 7.0, CC 0.0.
