Guys I forgot again for closing do I add my bluetec and kemtek (poly) before I lower water?

Maldonado kemtek bottle says 8 oz per 10 grand so I would need 16 oz cause I’m 20 grand. Bottle is 32 oz. should I just use full bottle or follow label? I forgot what most do.

I have been using the bluetec yearly. Does it help I don’t know but all I know is I always open to no scale so I’m paranoid and I just use it.

I'd use half a bottle, after you drain down. Seems like a good compromise to me (edited)

I personally have not seen any benefits from all of the "xxx-tec" versions of scale prevention, but if you prefer to continue using it you certainly can. I would add it just before you close though to ensure thorough circulation in the water. Follow the direction on the bottle. In pool cae, more is not always better. If you would like, post a full set of water test results before you close and we can evaluate that as well.

Ok thanks guys. I’m not closing till November like always but the poly came today so I figured I would ask. I’ll post up levels when it gets closer.
This is the first year I got a nice handle on my Levels. I didn’t have to touch ta or ch at all. Only added cya twice. Acid every other day.
This has been such an easy year. I think I finally know my pool and how it reacts daily.
