Closing immediately after new liner installed

Welcome to TFP! I personally would have concerns that algaecide (i.e. Poyquat 60) alone would get you through 5-6 months or so. Plus, without actually being able to mix and test the water, you have no idea what the other levels are, especially pH and TA.

But let's see what others have to say.

Do you have a submersible pump? If so I would use that to mix the water so you can add chems (adjust ph if necessary) & follow the advice in the closing article - electing to do either 1/2 slam level fc & polyquat or full slam level & no polyquat.

I find it difficult to fill it and not be able to observe it to be sure the liner is 100%. For all you know it losses water what would be your next step.
I tend to agree- all the cuts/gaskets in the liner at the skimmer & return areas should be checked. Getting them to do something about a problem many months later after it sits all winter could be problematic.
I know it seems like a waste to fill it up only to turn around & pump some of the water off but it would give peace of mind that everything is correct and allow for proper winterizing procedures to be carried out.
