I’m having my pool closed for the first time and installing a heavy mesh cover with anchors. I’m not sure how to prepare the water. Right now I’m looking like:

FC 2
CYA. 60
TA 60
PH 7.2 (It was 7.6 and I lowered it due to
Iron staining)
Salt. 3600

My plan is to try to drain and replace after an AA treatment upon opening this spring. I’m not sure where my levels should be before winterizing.

Your FC level is much lower than the recommended target which is 4 to 9 so my advice would be as to raise your FC to a target of 9 and do an overnight chlorine test tonight to see if you have algae. If all is good after the OCLT I'd bring the FCto slam which is 24 before closing.
