I have a summer waves inflatable ring pool. I need to take it down to store. We have only done it once before with no prep. So I want to do it better this year.

One issue is right now it has algae on the bottom. Ive shocked it and it has clear water. Do I need to vacuum or sphyon the bottom before I drain and clean? Or clean first then drain and then clean again?
We store in a big tote. I've heard dryer sheets, moth balls or baby powder. What is correct?

It will be easy to clean with a bleach solution once it’s empty. 10:1 is probably plenty but I generally go much stronger. From what I’ve seen, dryer sheets and mothballs are to keep the rodents away (Pick one) and Talcum powder is for dryness.
