Can you mix regular pool sand and the Clorox Sand Plus . New Sand Pump otw, Intex 16" 3000gph 120lb sand . Want to get it right the first time set up

Interesting isn't it how companies try to market their product. "Filters better, less backwashing, blah blah." Ha. In the end, sand is sand (when speaking of pool sand) as long as nothing has been added to it that might interfere with proper filtering. Pool sand is generally marked as #20 silica pool sand. I didn't see that highlighted on the Clorox package, but perhaps I just overlooked it. Just be sure the Clorox sand doesn't have some added products that could complicate things later.
