Clogged pool hose

Hello. I was vacuuming my pool like how I always have for the past 10 yrs. However, today I noticed that there were a lot of leaves. Anyway, I believe that I clogged my hose with the leaves. Does anyone have a trick on how to unclog the hose? I tried using my water hose on both ends of the swimming hose but no luck. I'm going to try using my pressure washer in a few days. Thank you in advance.

I would hand over hand down the hose until I found the heavy section. Then I'd bang it on the patio a few times and give that area some gentle whips. Once the leaf plug isn't jammed in there it should shake and/or wash out.

If the hose was so brittle it cracked by me giving it some love, it was on its last legs anyway and I did myself a favor.

Hand over hand? Not sure what that means. The hose is rigid and not soft so if you mean squeeze the hose to feel the blockage, I don't think that will work.

I mean slide it through one hand or 'walk' your hands down the hose at waist high. The crud plug should weigh more than the hose in that spot and be easy to feel, and maybe even hear it jiggling when you get to it.
