Hello. We had several trees come down after a tornado. Unknowingly, we had them chipped; the trees fell just behind the pool. Does anyone know how to clean this from the pool water? I have been vacuuming and skimming. It’s been two weeks. The water looks a browner shade. I’m not sure what to do besides empty out the entire pool. TIA

Just keep filtering, vacuuming, cleaning the filter, and adding a bunch of chlorine as that organic debris is rapidly depleting any that may be in the water. The brown is likely from the tannins in the wood coloring the water just as tea does. The color will bleach out as well. Calcium hypochlorite (mislabeled as shock in buckets, bottles, or 1 lb. bags) will do it faster.
