Hello,

I am building a new house with a 36x14 rectangular pool IG pool in Central Florida. I have seen some past discussion on this product but nothing recent so I apologize if this has been covered.

Can someone with the product please address any issues with cleaning? Since the cover appears to be at the waterline, does it provide a harbor for algae? Is the cover difficult to clean/scrub? Will a dirty cover that is difficult to clean make it difficult to keep/maintain the pool chemistry balanced? Is the cover compartment adequately drained? Is the hardware stainless steel to prevent rusting? How does the water drain and not create mold inside the container or on the concrete around or underneath?

Thanks

Looks like @Sendit6 has the Clearview Solar Cover. Maybe he can answer your questions.

We’re doing the concrete around it tomorrow. Actually only concrete halfway 3/4 up, the rest will be backfill then more fine rock. We’re having synthetic grass all inside the fence in the yard right up to the plastic coping edge.

Here are some pics of the current state. With area dug out behind it for diving board pad.

More pics. Not sure if the different ones uploaded. It’s taking forever.
