Last weekend I was low on calcium so I added 5lbs (now regretting that a bit) to get my csi less negative.

This weekend I’m noticing a bit of film on the tiles. It’s not really crusty build up like I have seen in some posts. Do I clean it with pumice stone, MA, something else?

Looks like normal evaporite scale to me.

Will the pool water get it off with some scrubbing? You can use a dilute MA solution, but use PPE as it can sting even in the dilute form.

Thanks. We noticed while in the spa yesterday (the water level in spa mode is lower, so the white line/residue was more visible). I splashed water on the area and rubbed with my thumb, and visually it went away but was back once it dried. I'll try some diluted MA next time we are in the spa.
