Cleaning tile

The builder never cleaned off the extra plaster/concrete left on our tile. What is the best way to do this? It looks dirty on the grout and areas of the tile. They are emptying our pool on Thursday to replaster so my husband wants to do this so it’s good when they are done. Thanks in advance!

There are products available at your nearest home improvement or tile store for cleaning up dried on thinset/grout on tile and stone. I've always used a mild acid solution myself. Typically 1 gallon of water and 3/4 to 1 cup of acid. MAKE SURE TO POUR THE ACID INTO THE WATER, ***NOT*** THE OTHER WAY AROUND!! Eye protection and gloves are a must and stay upwind of the fumes. Use a stiff brush and most, if not all of it will come off fairly easily.
