Cleaner preferences

New pool being built. 9ft x 13ft x 4.5ft deep.
i know it’s small but we want to use an automatic cleaner.
Should we install a dedicated suction line, dedicated return line, of neither and use an electric robot ?

pros, cons, thoughts and opinions ??

I think you will find robot is the one that will clean it the best.

None of those will do steps, ledges etc.

Seems like that’s the way things are going also. (Electronic robots) I think I’d eventually have some obsolete plumbing
