Cl220 chlorinator

Hi,

I installed the hayward cl220 and it’s not filling with water when the pump runs. The filler and pump worked fine after priming again but I can’t figure this out. The dial is set to 3 There arent any water leaks by the hoses that I see either. I’m new to this as well. Do i need to fill the chlorinator with water to start? I can post a photo if it helps. Any help is appreciated.

The 220 is an offline chlorinator so something isn't allowing sufficient flow through the 220 vs the main pipes. Maybe one of the flex connections is partially blocked? Maybe the dial isn't working and is closed off?

Sorry for the late reply....It did end up working after a few days....I turned the dial on full and the next morning it was full of water...maybe there was a bit of a clog or something.
