CircuPool Core55 SWG not reading temp correctly

This is my first year with our pool. We finished building a plaster 22k gallon pool last October and barely got to use it before the water got to cold. We ran the SWG after the initial start time and continued with it throught the winter. We did turn it off during our coldest months ( we live south Texas so really not that cold) when we got the "cold temp" reading and maintained chlorine levels with bleach/liquid chlorine. In March we turned it back on and has been running fine but we continue to get "cold temp" reading and our water temp is up to 70 degrees. All pool chemistries are good. We have unplugged the generator several times and it starts back good and then within a few hours the "cold temp" is back on. Anyone have similar problem? Suggestions?
