Is it normal that my chlorine drops from 5ppm to 1 ppm everyone 24 hours. We only have 2-3 bathers for about an hour. We do get a lot of sunshine however. Does alkalinity affect chlorine? Last time I checked it was about 85. Im using about 2.5 chlorine jugs (3.6L 10.8% chlorine ) per week. My CYA is 48. pH at 7.6-7.8.

2-4 ppm FC loss per day is normal. This is peak summer.
You should not be letting your FC get that low. At a CYA of 50, the FC should stay above 4 ppm at all times.
Alkalinity has no effect on FC usage.

Not sure how you're testing as no mention in the signature of a kit. CYA is called 50 if you're doing it right but target FC for 50 CYA is 6-8 so you're in danger keeping it that low. You need to do an OCLT to see if there's already something in the water called algae eating at the chlorine.
Your ozone doodle also chews up chlorine.
