Chlorine smell

I finally received my TF-100. Been testing all week to get a feel for the pool. I know I need to partially drain to bring CYA down. But I am smelling a hint of chlorine.
According to the math, CYA 125 X .075 my chlorine should be 9.3 or no lower than. BTW.. I'm no longer using trichlor pucks just 8% bleach and 10% liquid chlorine.
Also I let the PH run high so I could put enough MA in to drop TA down. Just did that this morning.

Any idea why I'm smelling chlorine?

About draining.. is there any math out there to calculate how long it will take to fill the pool given psi, size and length of hose? I have access to 3 bibs all between 25'-100' away from the pool.

Usually the smell of chlorine in a well mixed pool is CC not FC. Your CC is reported as 0.5, so you should smell nothing after additions have been well mixed.

Ok the pump is on now so I could get the MA mixed in. I'll give it sometime this morning. It wasn't an overwhelming amount but I was asking because my CC was 0.5
