Chlorine purchases - value

I'm sure this is somewhere, but haven't found (or figured out) a formula for calculating value.

For examples:
Amount (oz.)% ChlorinePricePrice/oz
1218.25$2.94$0.0234
1218.3$3.13$0.0259
12810$3.64$0.0284

What am I missing to find true value?

What would you buy?

Looks like you are on the right track

You break it down to cost per oz of 100% chlorine
Formula is

Cost in $ / (ounces in jug * percentage)

So a $4 gallon jug of 10% would be

$4 / (128*.10) = $0.3125

This will get apples to apples with all the varying percentages and jug sizes. I know the tfp app has a calculator built in.

I think that you need to check your math, the price/oz in the first 2 rows is incorrect. The 10% is the cheapest, plus it means you have to store and carry fewer jugs
