New vinyl lined pool went in a month or two and I've learned a lot about the chemistry. Using the TF100 kit, I've figured out what is needed, and much of how the chemicals affect one another. My numbers are still okay, but the weather cooled off over the past few weeks and water temp is down to 66-68. My chlorine has jumped to 11 (up from 4). I cut my IC60 SWCG back to 10% (from 40%), and it dropped to 8, and then went back up to 9 yesterday. So, last night, I dropped the SWCG back to 5%, hoping that will lower the chlorine. We have a lot of rain in the forecast over the next week or so, so we won't be getting much sun to kill off the chlorine. Is this okay, and normal, during the colder months, or could there be another reason, or something I should be doing?
