Hello all,

I have tried chemex bottles, pumps, and other containers to hold and dispense chlorine for my hot tub, because I don’t need to add much on a daily basis. No matter what I use, the plastic lids deteriorate after a month or two. Short of just using the chlorine bottle it comes in and a pour measuring cup, has anyone had any luck with alternatives?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark the jug with a sharpie in 10ths or levels of your choosing. Use those as a guide until you just know how much you're adding by feel.

We're playing hand grenades here, not horseshoes. Transferring liquids twice asks for twice the spills/splashes.

Keep it in the bleach bottle, and use one of these - Amazon.com

I don't throw them away. I rinse them in the tub and reuse. I also use them for a bunch of other stuff - epoxy, paint additive, fuel stabilizer, etc.
