Chlorine consumption?

Let’s assume all your chemical levels are in order and your pool gets the same amount of sun every day.
Does your pool consume more chlorine when the outside temperature is 90 degrees VS when the outside temperature is 80, 75, etc ?

Water temperature has more effect than air temperature.

In your example, with consistent water temperatures, the FC loss would be about the same.

Gotcha! Pool temp last few weeks been hovering around 82-85
today it’s at 89 ?

Ours has been cool too so had the cover on every night. By Wednesday it will be 90F as air temperatures will be pushing 115+

We've been using a cover for the last 2 months at night time. But recently here in Florida the temps have been surging.. Today at 93 was the highest so far this year.. With a water temp today of 89, it felt greatttttt!
