I recently drained and refilled my 12000 gallon above ground pool 24 ft round due to a cya value of 130 ( determined by taking sample to pool store). I drained 3/4 ish.
After refill, I ran pump/filter for 24 hours and then sampled. this is my chemistry
Ph = 7.2
Ta= 50
Hardness = 60
Free chlorine =2.5 ish
no combine chloride
Cya = 80

CYA is a bit higher than I thought but I think this is a good number to be at.
I added soda ash to get to about 7.5 ph. I am letting the pump/filter run to mix and then sample again and adjust TA next. I don’t think hardness matters? I have a vinyl pool. Does my plan make sense? Am I missing something? The pool math app says I should raise CL to 6ppm and hardness. Any help would be appreciated

The fatal truth is you're relying on pool store testing which is at best a guessing game. As OLY said it, get your own testing kit and you'll be the only one to blame for perfect water once you get a handle on things.

Focus on keeping your FC in the target range for your CYA, this is priority #1 FC/CYA Levels
Test your FC a hour after adding to confirm you are near the top of the target range, don't assume at this point.
The next day test again just before you add to determine your daily FC loss. Soon you will get a feel for your pool system and the FC demand.
Yes CH is not a major concern with a vinyl liner. You should list your pool details and equipment in your signature so others can provide the best advice going forward.

Thank you. I’ll do this. Should I adjust TA? Or hold off
