I know we need to drain but not sure how we are going to do that (we have to get a pump and hoses). Should I even bother with fixing the other stuff before we can drain? And looks are deceiving because the water looks great!
If you have to drain, yes, do that before wasting chemicals on water that you are just going to dump anyways. However, don't rely on store test numbers. They are often incorrect and will bite you later.
