So I have a new gunite pool that is done the 21 day plaster start up tomorrow. Plaster was done April 20th but pool wasn’t completely filled until April 22nd and pump started on the 23rd. What chemicals should I have on hand from this point on using the ftp method? Where can I buy most of them. We have a Walmart in town and pool supply store, but nearest hardware store is 20 minutes away.
It’s a salt water pool. Can I use the salt system now? How about the heater or is it still a week too early for both?

What is your builders start up plan?
First is a quality test kit. Do you have a TF100/Pro or K2006C?
Most pools only need liquid chlorine and muriatic acid on a continuous basis. With a SWCG, you will not need much liquid chlorine on hand as it will only be needed for events like pool parties, sudden organic loads, etc.
Once you can post proper water chemistry results, we can provide guidance on steps forward.
