Chemicals needed

Hi everyone! Our pool guy up and quit on us Now we are trying to do the pool maintenance on our own.

What chemicals do I need to properly maintain my pretty pool. I have chlorine tablets and acid. What kind of shock, with or without chlorine? Whats is the best for black algae? I am so lost and feel defeated but I really want to do this on my own.
