So I am in the slam process again due to algee. 2 days in the ph raise to 8 plus. I forgot to test before adding chlorine shock. Is it ok to add muriatic acid? Shock was added 30 minutes ago.

pH will show high when you have FC 10+. Do NOT adjust pH during a SLAM. You would have to let your FC fall and re-test the pH.
