Yes I just hope my pool will agree and be nice. Unfortunately it'll be probably be up to a week before it arrives in the mail so I will have to make do with what I've got.

Get a sand filter, that 635t just doesn't have the power. If it really moved 1,500 gph like it should i wouldn't suggest this, but after seeing the performance of a new 635t first hand I can honestly say they are useless to any pool owner. I was going to sell mine but I can't sell something that doesn't work as advertised.

The drops don't calculate free chlorine so that # was from the chlorine level from the drops and then I use the strips for the FC.

I keep reading alot about this Aeration thing. Do you advise I should aerate or not with my levels? I have been aerating since refilling the pool. That's just how the hoses seem to be sitting but if I prop a chair under the hose I can stop it.
Stop the aeration, and go ahead and hang the CYA sock. Use the CYA dose the pool calculator gives based on the 40ppm test. If your strips are reading false and showing CYA where is none, that will show up as the CYA being a little low, and easily corrected.
If you get too much CYA in the water, the only way to reduce it is to drain, and you dont want to do that again!

Ok I will add in the stabilizer now. Should I continue to add in the Dry Acid till the levels come down more? And yes we are swimming and enjoying every minute of it. 
I wouldn't add CYA until you get your good test kit. Strips are almost (if not always) wrong, and if CYA ends up getting too high, the only way to remove it is to drain.
To be on the safe side I went and had my CYA tested. All my levels were good. I can stop putting in the Dry Acid.

If your CYA dose in the sock is based on the 40 test {that is now 10}, you need to add the amount of CYA needed to bump it up for those extra 30 parts. Recalculate from a zero "now" and a 30 target, and add that to the sock.
Keep up with the TA test for a week, and daily CL tests. You should see your bleach use drop, and maybe need a little more acid. You are on the verge of simple daily testing and minor adjustments! Keep up with the clean filter cartridges!

Ok great! CYA is floating away in front of the jet. I clean the cartridge daily. Only because it's still cloudy and I want that gone. But as long as my levels are ok I am ok with that.
Read your whole thread, keep up the good work toward a crystal clear pool. You are going to know more than most Pool store employees out there, period! I'm learning a lot watching the process, keep going!
I am happy to say my new test kit has arrived. And the pool is doing great. Still a little cloudy but at least my levels are good.

You should run a CYA test, to make sure your level is where you think it is, and that you are shocking to the proper level.
I just added the stabilizer 2 days ago and it's not quite dissolved yet so I'm not sure if the results would be correct yet.
