Been having issues with this pool maintaining ORP levels, CAT 2000 controller with the hayward pumps it came with. 80,000 gallon pool. Went ahead and decided to upgrade the pumps from the hayward 30gpd to Stenner 50gpd(45mp5). Noticed the Stenner pump has a rating of 1.7 amps, and the old Hayward one was rated at .06 amps. I’m almost positive this wouldn’t work out good considering it’s an almost 30x amperage difference, so i’m running just the chlorine side and not the acid side for testing. Anyone know a good pump to use with the cat 2000? Or is it just a terrible system and should be replaced?

TFP is focused on residential pools and I doubt anyone here knows about commercial pool equipment like the CAT 2000.
