Cartridge cleaning

I’ve been dealing with this for several months now. I have to clean my cartridge filters every week. After cleaning, pressure will be around 15 and waterfall works fine (uses same pump as filter). Within a few hours, waterfall has quit flowing and the pressure is up to 30.

I just cleaned the cartridges today with the tablets from the pool store. Still got the same results as above. Seems like I’m either not getting them clean enough or there’s something wrong with the cartridges.

Welcome to the forum!
We find that when a member comes on the forum with their filter plugging up quickly, 99% of the time it is algae.
Can you post a full set of test results?

Pool store recommended 3lbs. Chlorine and to brush. We did both after cleaning filters

This is why you have algae, whether you can see it or not.. and why you can't keep your filters clean.
