We are will soon be replacing the liner in our 24' above ground pool. During the installers pre check he noticed several of the posts were deformed and need to be replaced. However, the company that installed it is no longer operating. The pool was installed in the summer of 2020. In my search I have been unable to identify the pool company by the logo on the top of the post. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Semper Fidelis.

The orinal installers paperwork did not identify the model and make. The contract through the dealer did not have the pool name on it, just Redwood. When I called back today and got a different person who has been there for years sid that as soon as I said 24' Redwood from the paperwork she instantly new it was a Carvin. I guess I got a newbie the first time. Due to distance I am having a local Pool business replace the liner. And it just so happens that they are a Carvin dealer that can due the warranty issues on the vertical support structures. Thank you and all those that helped me. Semper Fidelis

Okay that’s good that is just a slightly important thing to have the correct brand and parts to do the repair properly. We have installed Carvin for years and they are pretty good quality and usually last.I would monitor your water chemistry very carefully with your new liner, once it’s replaced under warranty one time they are usually looking for any reason to not honor the warranty again, just a little f.y.i. from past experience with manufacturers.

I have a carvin pump & the on/off switch melted.
I called the manufacturer looking for a replacement switch - they told me you must go through a dealer for warranty service but she was able to assure me that it was covered and they would replace the entire pump. I was sure to jot down her name for future reference just in case. Called the dealer I bought from originally, they said it was a known issue & they ordered my replacement (upgraded model) sight unseen before the phone call was over. There was a wait for it to come in but overall a fine experience. Luckily I was able to remove the switch & wire it together so I could still run the pump while I waited. My pump is plugged into a timer anyway.
It’s in the shed as backup now.

I believe Carvin is made by Jacuzzi brand equipment and they put their name on it .We have never used their equipment but they have been good in any issues regarding their above ground pool parts and warranties.

Yes they are one in the same- when you call it says both carvin & jacuzzi.
It’s not necessarily a pump I would purchase outright but it came with my pool package & seems to do its job. Can’t really vouch for the quality of their other products as I just have the carvin pump & sand filter. My pool is made by someone else.

I think that the brand is now owned by Leslie's.
They bought the rights to certain products from jacuzzi I think (some pumps & swcg’s) & carvin bought the name & swallowed up the rest.
there’s a thread somewhere around here about it.
It drives you crazy because it’s hard to know what you’re really buying- like briggs & stratton or snapper at Walmart. That’s Big business for you!

Leslie’s switched to Jacuzzi a few years back from Hayward .The quality isn’t near as good as Pentair or Jandy but comparable to Hayward.
