Can you do the sock method with cal hypo

I picked up some very cheap cal hypo on sale and my CL levels are low where I live. Sometimes when I cal hypo I put in a 5 gal bucket and stir it but that becomes annoying sometimes. Can I do the sock method for dissolving cal hypo? Thanks

I don't know why not. I would suggest leaving the pump running so the Cal Hypo doesn't concentrate in the skimmer. It may not dry out very well if you need to remove it before it is dissolved but you could then place everything in a bucket until you re-use it again.
