Can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?

Several years ago I switched from a Polaris cleaner to a Dolphin Cleaner. With the Polaris I could keep it in the pool to run daily until we are ready to swim (with the pump on a timer). Since the Dolphin is powered by electric instead of a pump can I leave the dolphin in the pool 24/7 as long as I have the control panel under cover? Currently we run the Dolphin for several hours on the weekend then remove.

Other than looking at it in your pool, there is no reason not to leave it in if you want.

Thanks - Although it would be much lighter, I didn't know if the rubber pieces would get smashed and then not operate as effeciently after sitting on the bottom of the pool between run times

Jack,

I have two rent houses that have had robot cleaner in them for several years... I have yet to see any issues, except the color of the plastic seems to fade, but not sure that would not happen even if they were taken out all the time.
