I have 4 inlets and have determined one is sucking a little air..I know its on the bottom of the valve..Basically 1 1/2 pipe with a adapter to 2" and that slides in the bottom part of the valve..
Cutting it off is possible but would be a pain getting the height right..
Any shade tree ways to seal a PVC pipe fitting sucking air? Thought about that spray flex seal stuff.

If it is a suction line and it is leaking at a glued PVC fitting you should be able to seal it easily with multiple applications of PVC primer and some glue.

Here is a video showing how it is done.

Again this would be easiest on a suction side leak. If it is a pressure side leak, then you can do things with a vacuum to create the suction, which is also talked about it in the video.

I have repaired pressure side leaks in PVC using Plast-Aid which may be another option. There are also special fittings for leaks that might work depending on your actual setup.

Undo the unions and the swg union and take it out as a unit. Spin it upside down and take a pick and eat the inner pipe to valve a little then primer it and glue it and let sit 24hrs. Do the same to the side coming up. You want to make a little valley so the glue can get between them and make a seal. Worst case you can get a new valve and cut PVC lower put a coupling in and a short piece then bushing from 1.5 to 2 inch to valve
