I record my CYA as the best estimate that I can make based on when the dot actually disappears in my Taylor test. E.g., if it looks like it's 58, I record it as 58. I know that the advice is to assume that it's 60 for making calculations, but I think there's some (possible) value in tracking the change over time. If it's 58 this month, 55 next month, and 51 the following month, then I'd like a chance to identify that trend, rather than just seeing 60 every month.

I've been assuming that Pool Math will do it's computations based on the rounded-up CYA number and that I get the best of both worlds by recording what I'm observing and having Pool Math round it up for the calculations. It occurs to me that I ought to confirm that it's actually doing this though.

So, if I log a CYA value of 52, is Pool Math in fact making suggestions and calculations based on a value of 60?
