Can anyone tell me what is causing this oozing from the grout between the tiles? I have to periodically scrape it away with a razor blade to keep it from taking over. Thanks.
You can try dilute acid in a spray bottle and a stiff Tampico brush. However, evaporite deposits will always occur so this is simply a maintenance job (annual acid cleaning). Better control over water chemistry (negative CSI) will help.
If the crust gets really adherent to the point where you can not scrap it off with your fingernail, then you may need to explore soda blasting with kierserite media for physical removal.
