I have a newly built pool that was plastered about 6 weeks ago, and I just noticed a calcium nodule has developed on the bottom of the deep end. I read the threads here about this that indicate this is a problem with delamination of the finish, but it's not clear what I should do based on that. Should I ask the PB to repair this one nodule? What happens if more form in the future? Unfortunately the pool builder has turned out not to be that great to work with so this has me concerned.
It's hard to get a good picture of it since it's 6 feet underwater. I'd say it's about 1/2" wide and sticks up a bit more than the picture make sit seem.
