I have been adding calcium weekly to my pool because my calcium is low. This year it seems like I can’t add enough. Is there another problem I need to look into.. Second ? I changed to ruby sand thinking I was improving my filtering but it seems like my skimmers are not drawing as much. I’m not getting the top layer of water where floating debris just stays on top. Small particles (flowering tree debris- small bugs). Not sure what to do. It is still drawing into the skimmer but not near as much? I don’t notice the top layer being drawn into the skimmer but there is large debris in the skimmer when I empty them. I have a 40K pebble tech pool- intelliflo pump- ruby sand filter.
