Calcium Hypochlorite issue

Hi, I was told by my local pool shop to added some chlorine into my pool. I chose to use calcium hypochlorite but didn't realise it needed to be mixed in a bucket. I know have a white stain on the bottom of my pool. Its been there fore a few months. I've tried scrubbing and brushing it with no luck. can anyone please help me to fix this issue. the pool shop that sold me the calcium has been useless - i've attached a picture for reference.

What type of surface is your pool - plaster or vinyl liner?

Interesting. I had a similar issue adding calcium chloride and didn’t brush it up right away. I had to brush for about 15 minutes to get it all to come off the surface and dissolve.

Does that spot feel rough, like material deposits, or smooth, like just being bleached?

What are you water parameters? Have a look into test kits from Clear Choice Labs, they offer the best option in Australia to get a good test kit.

Note that I mean I didn’t brush it up until 5 minutes later. The longer I waited the harder it was to brush. The question above is good though to determine if it’s just calcium scale or chlorine bleached plaster.
