I've used your pool math calculations for several years since changing from bacquical to chlorine for my above ground pool. in the past I haven't really concerned myself with the calcium hardness but this year the pool math calculations suggest I add calcium chloride. As an above ground pool user do I need to be concerned with the CH?? Thanks for your input!

18' above ground pool
FC at 21PPM (shocked yesterday to reopen pool)
PH at 7.2
TA at 50ppm
CA at 80PPM
CYA at 60

No need to add calcium to a vinyl liner pool.

The range should say 0-350 I believe for CH. As long as you have your pool setup as Vinyl and using Troublefreepool standards.
