We are new pool owners. The pool did not have this staining or build up last summer. We opened it this year and there are hard sharp nodules on the pool walls. So sharp they cut your skin. The bottom cleaner collects scale and a sandy sediment. There is brown staining throughout. Our water was high in PH when we opened but is since balanced and has shown no improvement in a month and a half.
